Los Vecinos Espadin
Utilising locally grown, hand-harvested agave, the sultry, smoky sweetness of these artesanal mezcals is reached after days of slow roasting agave hearts underground. Naturally fermented in wooden vats and double distilled using a copper pot still, this mezcal has aromas of baked pineapple and canned pineapple juice. On the palate it’s all spice up front in the mouth, quickly moving to roasted tropical fruits, tender young ginger and green bell peppers.

Los Vecinos Ensamble
Ensamble No. 1 is a blend of 5% Barril, 5% Madrecuishe and 90% Espadin agave. Opening aromas of chamomile, dill and roasted agave. Delicate but tangy fragrances of green tea, hemp, palm frond, green pea and black pepper. Initially sweeter that the aroma implies, and first impression is of black pepper, honey and soy sauce. A well mannered and delicate mezcal.

Los Vecinos Tobala
One of the rarer styles of agave, the wild agave Tobala plant is found in high altitudes, has very low yields and can take up to 15 years to mature. Patience is rewarded however, as this mezcal has aromas of an earthy funk which permeates the nose with floral undertones and wafts of citrus zest. A pleasant touch of sweetness in the mouth, followed by powerful ripe tropical fruits. A spiced finish leaves the tongue tingling.
